The Special Managing Authority (SMA) of the Operational Programme North Aegean” aims to exercise the responsibilities of managing the Program, as an Administrative Authority within the framework of the NSRF 2021-2027 in accordance with articles 7 and 8 of Law 4914/2022 (A’ 61) and Management and Control System of the Programming period 2021-2027.
Structure and responsibilities
The SMA of the Operational Programme North Aegean”, consists of the following four (4) Units:
- Planning and Evaluation.
B.1. Monitoring and Management of projects under Priorities 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 of the “North Aegean” Programme 2021-2027.
B21. Monitoring and Management of projects under Priorities 1, 4A and 4B of the “North Aegean” Programme 2021-2027.
- Organization and Support.
The above-mentioned Units still exercise the responsibilities of the OP “North Aegean” 2014-2020.
For the more efficient operation of the SMA, there are also offices at the headquarters of the Regional Units of Samos and Chios with a staff of up to 2 executives, who are placed after the decision of the Head of the SMA in the corresponding Units, according to the needs of the SMA.
The responsibilities of the Service are determined by YA 82981-29.08.2022 (Government Gazette B/4681-05.09.2022).
